War in the Middle East: Fuel supplies in Kyrgyzstan will last for two months

The State Antimonopoly Agency provided clarifications on the current situation

In Kyrgyzstan, the market for fuel and lubricants is demonstrating stability, and there are enough petroleum product reserves to meet domestic demand for the next two months, as reported by the State Antimonopoly Agency.

Recently, the agency held a meeting with the main oil traders in the country, such as "RN-Kyrgyznefteprodukt," "Partner Oil," "Alpha Oil," and others. During the discussions, the uninterrupted supply of fuel and lubricants from Russia was confirmed in accordance with the established schedule.

The State Antimonopoly Agency urged oil traders to maintain current retail prices and avoid sharp fluctuations in fuel costs to prevent shortages in the market.

It should be noted that due to conflicts in the Middle East, there is an increase in fuel prices in the global market. Additionally, risks related to fuel delivery and Iran's attacks on oil and gas facilities, as well as on maritime vessels, have led to a decrease in transportation volumes. Russia has already reported the possibility of halting maritime gas supplies to Europe, while the Strait of Hormuz is effectively blocked for vessels from Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and other countries.
