Starting from April 1 of this year, testing of the goods waiting confirmation system, known as SPOT, will begin. This statement was made by Urmat Takirov, the director of the Center for Development and Promotion of Exports "Kyrgyz Export," operating under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“The full launch of the system is scheduled for July 1, 2026. The main advantage of SPOT is the requirement to specify the consignee when processing shipments. This system will allow for the advance creation of an electronic delivery document and the submission of a security payment. After the payment is confirmed, a QR code will be issued, which will be required when crossing the border. All necessary documents will be available in the system,” added Takirov.
However, as he clarified, a number of categories will not be covered by this system. In particular, it will not affect individuals who import goods for personal use, diplomatic cargo, transit goods, as well as some large shipments where the payer is not a payer of indirect taxes.According to Takirov, the implementation of this system is aimed at facilitating control over the movement of goods and increasing transparency in the field of foreign trade.
