During the current session of the Osh City Council, deputies discussed several pressing issues, including the return of municipal lands, the city’s debts, and the inventory of large commercial properties.

Deputy Nuskhat Akmatov from the "Zhanı Kyrgyzstan" faction drew attention to the situation near the new bus station, pointing out information about damage to currency exchange points and the construction work that has begun in the area.

The head of the municipal property management department of the Osh mayor's office, Jakshylyq Toktogon uulu, commented on the situation, explaining that these plots belong to the territory of the new bus station but were previously privatized illegally. Currently, legal proceedings are underway regarding these properties.

During the meeting, Deputy Bekbolot Arzibaev requested up-to-date information on the city’s debts. Mayor Janar Akayev reported that the Audit Chamber has already begun an investigation into the debt issues. "A full report on the state of the city budget and the volume of debts will be presented after the audit is completed," he added.

The change in leadership has also led to the announcement of significant debts of the municipality.

Another item on the agenda was the status of land plots that are rumored to belong to former Osh mayor Melis Myrzakmatov. Jakshylyq Toktogon uulu noted that legal proceedings are ongoing, and at the moment, none of the plots have been officially returned to municipal ownership.

The deputies also discussed the new "Osh" market, which has not yet been put into operation. Although the facility is functioning, the legal procedure for its acceptance has not yet been completed. First Deputy Mayor Omorbek Torobaev reported that an inventory of the market is currently being conducted, with the participation of law enforcement agencies.
