Export volumes are declining in Kyrgyzstan, - EAEU
According to him, this situation is caused by two main reasons. Firstly, there is a reduction in gold supplies against the backdrop of rising global prices for this metal.
Secondly, there is a decline in the export of textile products due to barriers set by partner countries.
Nevertheless, the republic is at a new stage of economic growth, showing an increase in GDP of 11% and more than 10% in the industrial sector. Kyrgyzstan continues to export agricultural products, livestock, auto parts, and coal.
Ibraev also noted the importance of the situation at the borders and expressed complaints from Russia and Kazakhstan regarding the quality of goods and tax payments.
“We support civilized control. If there are questions regarding certificates, it is necessary to create a joint commission of the four countries. However, inspections should not become artificial barriers for business. The presence of a certificate and an electronic seal should guarantee the unhindered passage of goods across the border. Delays in cargo at the border contradict the principles of the EAEU,” Ibraev stated.
