Kyrgyzstan Launches National Brand "White Snow Leopard" - EAEU

- Kyrgyzstan has announced the creation of a national brand "Ak Ilbirs" (Snow Leopard), which will be used to denote local products and enhance the country's tourist appeal. This was reported on February 3 during a radio broadcast by Danil Ibraev, president of the Kyrgyz Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and a member of the Presidium of the Business Council of the EAEU.

As Ibraev noted, the snow leopard logo will become not just a trademark, but a multifaceted symbol of the Kyrgyz Republic. The goal of the project is to form a strong association: "Ak Ilbirs" will signify high quality of goods, a clean environment, rich culture, and a stable legal framework for investors.

As an example of successful use of a similar approach, he cited Switzerland, where the very name of the country serves as a guarantee of quality for various products, from watches to chocolate.

“We strive for this brand to become known on the international stage. We want people to associate clothing or products with this mark as modern, democratic, and open Kyrgyzstan when they purchase them. This can trigger a chain reaction: from buying goods to an interest in visiting our country as a tourist and, ultimately, to a desire to invest here,” said the head of the KSIPE.
