The deputy proposes placing certified organic food products on separate shelves in retail outlets.
Amendments are also proposed to the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on offenses regarding penalties for violations of consumer rights when selling goods and services. In particular, Mavlyanova proposes to introduce fines for the absence of such special shelves for certified organic products: 5,000 soms for individuals and 20,000 soms for legal entities. Additionally, liability is provided for the absence of a separate section on the website in the case of online trading, with a fine of 3,000 soms for individuals and 15,000 for legal entities.

According to the current law on organic production, producers are required to follow a number of rules:
1) the use of only healthy animals and plants, as well as safe materials and raw materials;
2) carrying out production without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and antibiotics, except for permitted substances;
3) a ban on additives obtained chemically, except for permitted substances;
4) refusal of GMOs and products created using them;
5) a ban on hydroponic methods using prohibited chemicals;
6) prevention of the use of ionizing radiation for the treatment of organic products;
7) maintaining soil fertility;
8) minimizing the use of non-renewable resources;
9) recycling waste for use in agriculture;
10) maintaining ecological balance;
11) protecting plants using traditional varieties and biological control methods;
12) applying physical methods of plant protection;
13) caring for animal health by stimulating their immune system;
14) breeding animals with consideration for their adaptation to local conditions;
15) using animals raised in organic conditions;
16) feeding animals only organic ingredients;
17) protecting the ecosystems of water bodies and land;
18) creating buffer zones to protect against pollution.
