Deputy Minister of Energy Nasipbek Kerimov reported that, considering the weather forecast predicting warming in a week, it may soon be possible to switch to summer mode. However, Salymbekov expressed dissatisfaction with this response and inquired whether the lifting of restrictions would be possible in March. The official explained that this issue is currently under review, as nighttime temperatures still remain low.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Energy had previously reported on the introduction of energy-saving measures that affect both the population and government institutions. Starting from November 2025, the capacity for consumers during morning and evening hours will be temporarily reduced from 5 to 3 kilowatts through the use of "smart meters."
