The main objective of this agreement is to eliminate double taxation for business entities of both parties, which will create more favorable conditions for economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hong Kong.
The ministry emphasized that such agreements to avoid double taxation are an effective tool for attracting foreign investment into the country's economy.
The document also includes protection for residents of one country from discriminatory taxation by the other, measures against tax evasion and abuse of the provisions of the agreement, as well as the development of mutual information exchange between the competent authorities of both parties.
