This was reported by Rosselkhoznadzor. The products that were at the border originated from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and China. Among the inspected vehicles were four that brought 60 tons of apples and 20 tons of onions, also produced in Kazakhstan, to Kurgan.
The remaining vehicles, carrying zucchini, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, and mandarins, were in transit through the Trans-Ural region to cities such as Chelyabinsk, Surgut, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Moscow, and Sverdlovsk region.
The most common product among the transported goods remained onions — 29 vehicles crossed the border with this product. In addition, 13 vehicles, which is almost one in four, imported fresh cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes, and strawberries.
