The rise in gold prices ensured good budget revenues in 2025, - Kasymaliyev
A report on the results of work in the economic and financial sectors for 2025 was presented by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Head of the President's Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
Kasymaliev emphasized that the republic has achieved a record indicator: the consolidated budget has exceeded 1 trillion 101.4 billion soms for the first time.
These figures have become possible due to GDP growth and reforms in tax administration, noted the head of the Cabinet.
If in 2020 the revenues of the State Tax Service amounted to 78 billion soms, by 2025 this amount has increased to 304.3 billion soms, which corresponds to a fourfold increase.
Revenues of the State Customs Service in 2025 reached 157.4 billion soms, compared to 28.9 billion soms in 2020, indicating a sixfold increase.
Non-tax revenues of the budget in the past year amounted to 189.4 billion soms, which is 8-9 times higher than the figures of 2020.
Kasymaliev also noted that the increase in global gold prices contributed to a significant increase in budget revenues.
