Kyrgyzstan's GDP will exceed 2 trillion soms by the end of 2025, - Kasymaliev
Within the framework of the event, it is planned to discuss three main aspects: the results of work in the field of economy and finance, outcomes in the real sector, as well as indicators of the social sphere by 2025.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and the head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, presented information on the state of the economy and the financial sector.
According to the developed development plan, the average annual GDP growth rate was set at 5.5%. However, over the past four years, Kyrgyzstan has recorded an average growth of about 9%.
The projected GDP volume by the end of 2025 will amount to 1 trillion 976 billion soms, with a real growth rate expected at 11.1%.
“We expect that by the end of 2025, GDP will exceed 2 trillion soms, and growth rates will be above 11%,” noted Kasymaliev.
He also added that under the program, by 2026, GDP per capita should reach 1500 dollars, but already in 2025 this figure will be 3075 dollars.
