In Kyrgyzstan, systematic training for specialists in civil drones will begin

An important step has been taken in Kyrgyzstan towards the development of the civil sector of drone technology. A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Kyrgyz Association for the Development of Drone Technologies and Adam University, aimed at creating a systematic approach to training personnel and implementing engineering solutions in various peaceful sectors of the economy.

The document, signed by the university rector Svetlana Sirmbard and the association chairman Alexander Kim, focuses on the civil use of drones. It concerns the application of unmanned aerial vehicles in areas such as agriculture, cartography, ecology, logistics, and infrastructure monitoring. Within the framework of the cooperation, special attention will be paid to projects for the development of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicles, overseen by association member Ilyas Isaev.

The university administration expressed its readiness to participate in the creation of relevant educational programs and to support scientific initiatives. Svetlana Sirmbard, the rector of the university, noted that drone systems are considered a significant tool for the development of science and education.

Alexander Kim, the chairman of the association, emphasized that although the memorandum is a framework document, it represents an important first step towards creating a full-fledged professional community and engineering school in the country. Experts believe that the joint efforts of business and the academic environment will be a key factor in the emergence of high-tech projects in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles in Kyrgyzstan.
