The Association for the Development of Drone Technologies in Kyrgyzstan and Adam University have signed an agreement aimed at developing civil unmanned aerial vehicle technologies in the country.
This memorandum implies the establishment of systematic interaction in the fields of education, engineering development, and the formation of a professional environment.
The document was signed by the university rector, Svetlana Sirmbard, and the chairman of the association, Alexander Kim.
Also present at the meeting was Ilyas Isaev, a member of the association responsible for technical directions and projects related to the development of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) drones.
The memorandum is a framework document and is viewed as the first step towards long-term cooperation. The main focus will be on civil applications of drone technologies, such as infrastructure monitoring, agriculture, environmental initiatives, cartography, media, logistics, and other areas.
The university has expressed its readiness to support the development of this industry, from training personnel and creating educational programs to participating in joint research projects with the association and its members.
Svetlana Sirmbard commented that the university sees drone technologies as a means to develop the economy, science, and education. "We are ready to contribute to the creation of a modern educational base and support technological initiatives together with the industry community," she added.
Alexander Kim noted that this memorandum serves as a starting point for systematic work. "We realize that this is just an intention. But it is from such steps that the formation of the industry begins. Our goal is the consistent development of the civil drone technology market, training specialists, and creating conditions for engineering and technological projects in the country," he emphasized.
Thus, the signing of this memorandum is seen as the beginning of efforts to establish modern educational, technological, and professional foundations in the field of civil drone technologies in Kyrgyzstan.
