According to the data from the NIA, from 2022 to 2024, 35 complaints were received, and during 2025, 24 complaints were received, including 2 that were carried over from 2024.
The agency noted that it assisted investors with their complaints related to various issues, including:
- actions by tax authorities, such as tax reassessments;
- refusals by local authorities to provide or extend land plots;
- illegal inspections by law enforcement agencies and other similar cases.
In addition, the NIA provides legal consultations and clarifications on current legislation, as well as conducts expertise on investment agreements and various regulatory acts related to investment activities.
According to the agency, on May 12, 2025, the NIA was integrated into the automated information system of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic called the "Investor Complaint Registry."
