The total cost of these projects amounts to 21.6 billion soms, and their combined capacity will reach 148.3 megawatts. It is planned that the annual electricity generation will be 629.7 million kilowatt-hours.
The ministry noted that the implementation of these projects will help close about 16 percent of the existing electricity deficit in the country and enhance the stability of the national energy system.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Finance emphasizes that these initiatives will create new jobs, increase tax revenues, and lead to improvements in infrastructure, including roads and power lines.
"The development of green energy contributes to reducing the carbon footprint and provides additional opportunities for irrigation in agriculture," the department added.
