In 2025, the funding allocated to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports increased by 13%. The Deputy Director of the agency, Ulan Kydyrbaev, announced this information at a recent meeting.
He noted that a large portion of the allocated funds was directed towards salaries:
- salary – 1 billion 62 thousand soms;
- utilities – 69.8 thousand soms;
- repair works – 3 million 15 thousand soms;
- sports development – 1 billion 163 million soms.
Kydyrbaev added that in 2024, the total amount of allocated funds was 2 billion 141 million soms.
“Comparing with 2024, funding in 2025 increased by 13%. This confirms the serious interest of the state in the development of physical culture and sports,” he emphasized.
It should be noted that the meeting at the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports was convened to summarize the results of 2025 and discuss plans for the current year.
