According to the information from the ministry, the process of liquidating the company was completed on February 10, 2026, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 1184-k.
In its clarification, the Ministry of Economy explained the situation regarding the domain name TRADECO.KG, which previously belonged to the mentioned company. It became known that on October 1, 2024, JSC signed a contract with the domain registrar "Asia Info" for the registration of the domain for one year. After the liquidation of the company and the expiration of the contract, the renewal of the registration was not carried out.
Additionally, the clarification states that on October 17, 2025, a new contract was concluded with the registrar "Asia Info" for the registration of the domain name TRADECO.KG to another party. However, the registrar cannot disclose information about the new owner due to confidentiality requirements of the legislation.
The Ministry of Economy specified that at the moment, JSC "Trade Company of the Kyrgyz Republic" no longer owns the domain TRADECO.KG, does not conduct its activities through it, and is not responsible for the information posted on this internet resource.
Background of the Issue
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, by its order dated August 23, 2024, No. 499-r, established the "Trade Company" with full state participation in the authorized capital, where the founder was the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
The purpose of creating the company was to monitor trade flows involving Kyrgyz companies that do not supply goods to the territory of the country, as well as to organize this activity and control financial operations related to the corresponding transactions. According to the charter, the main tasks of the company became international trade, organization and control of financial operations (including currency transfers and settlements with foreign counterparties), management of currency risks, and ensuring financial stability.
It should also be noted that on September 4, 2024, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic issued a resolution imposing a one-year restriction on financial organizations: they could not carry out payment orders and settlements on contracts for goods, works, and services that come from foreign states or to foreign states without actual delivery to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic, except for authorized state companies determined by the Cabinet of Ministers. This restriction did not apply to supplies to the territory of the country and electronic commerce for personal use.
In 2024, it was also reported that applications for services could be submitted through the website tradeco.kg. However, according to the current clarification from the Ministry of Economy, JSC does not own the domain TRADECO.KG and is not responsible for its content.
