The functions of the "Trading Company" were exclusively related to the import of goods that did not physically cross the border of Kyrgyzstan. Its activities were even mentioned in the USA when Kyrgyzstan reported on its interactions with the international community under sanctions.
According to information obtained by publications such as Economist.kg, this organization is no longer operational, and its website has turned into an online casino.
Official authorities have not made any statements regarding the liquidation of the company. The domain tradeco.kg, which previously belonged to the "Trading Company," is now hosting Olymp Casino, offering users gambling and sports betting. The site is fully adapted to the Kyrgyz market: bets are made in soms, and users can top up their accounts through popular local banks. This transformation occurred back in October 2025.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic commented to Kaktus.media on the information regarding the closure of the company.
It became known that JSC "Trading Company of the Kyrgyz Republic" was liquidated on February 10, 2026, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Justice of the KR No. 1184-k.
Regarding the domain name tradeco.kg, which previously belonged to the JSC, the ministry clarified that on October 1, 2024, a contract was signed with the domain name registrar "Asia Info" for the registration of this domain for one year. Due to the liquidation of the company and the expiration of the contract, the registration of the domain was not renewed," the agency reported.
On October 17, 2025, a new contract was signed with the registrar "Asia Info" for the registration of the domain name tradeco.kg by another party.
The registrar does not disclose information about the new owner of the domain tradeco.kg, citing confidentiality requirements of the legislation.
As of today, JSC "Trading Company of the Kyrgyz Republic" is not the owner of the domain name tradeco.kg, does not conduct any activities through it, and is not responsible for the content of information on this website.
