The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has presented updated official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the som as of February 24.
According to the regulator:
The exchange rate of the dollar (USD) is set at 87.45 soms;
The euro (EUR) is worth 103.28 soms;
The ruble (RUB) has shown a slight decrease and is 1.13 soms;
The Kazakh tenge (KZT) is valued at 0.17 soms;
The Chinese yuan (CNY) equals 12.65 soms.
In commercial banks in the capital, the dollar is bought on average for 87.40 soms and sold for 87.80 soms. The Russian ruble can be purchased at a price of 1.13 soms, while its selling price is 1.16 soms.
