As of February 20, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has presented updated official exchange rates of foreign currencies against the som.
According to the regulator:
- US Dollar (USD) is set at 87.45 soms;
- Euro (EUR) — 103.19 soms (with a slight decrease);
- Russian Ruble (RUB) — 1.14 soms (with a slight increase);
- Kazakh Tenge (KZT) — 0.17 soms;
- Chinese Yuan (CNY) — 12.65 soms.
In commercial banks in the capital, the dollar can be purchased on average for 87.30 soms, while its selling price is about 87.80 soms. As for the ruble, it is bought on average for 1.13 soms, and the selling price is 1.16 soms.
