The National Bank extended the deadline for the export of worn-out dollars until September 2026

- This decision was made on February 18, 2026, as part of the resolution of the Board of the National Bank regarding changes to the previous permit issued on December 13, 2024, under number 2024-П-09/67-2-(БС). Now commercial banks can export worn-out cash US dollars outside the country, including banknotes issued before 2006, in both cash and non-cash forms.

According to Articles 5, 9, and 64 of the Law "On the National Bank," the Board of the National Bank has decided:

1. To amend the aforementioned resolution of December 13, 2024, No. 2024-П-09/67-2-(БС):
- in paragraph 1, to replace the date "March 1, 2026" with "September 1, 2026";
- in paragraph 2, to also change the date "March 1, 2026" to "September 1, 2026";
- in paragraph 5, similarly update the date "March 1, 2026" to "September 1, 2026".

This resolution comes into effect from the moment of its official publication.
