In the Jumgal district, in the village of Aral, the establishment of a new northern transport control point on the North-South highway is planned. This decision was made during a meeting of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
According to the ministry's information, the launch of the control point will contribute to improving road safety, as well as monitoring compliance by freight vehicles with weight and size regulations. This will also help prevent the destruction of the road surface.
Additionally, such an initiative will reduce the volume of illegal and excessive transportation, preserve road infrastructure, and enhance order in the transport sector.
There are also plans for a phased major repair of existing transport control points across the country, which has not been carried out for many years.
Funding for these construction and repair works will be provided from the Stabilization Fund, established by the decree of the head of state.
