“Our laboratories are functioning, and every farmer can turn to them, regardless of what seeds or seedlings they are using. The laboratories check for disease infections, ensure the seeds are clean, and determine their strength and germination energy. After the analysis, you will be informed whether your seeds are suitable for planting,” the minister added.
He emphasized that even in the absence of certificates, seed testing remains important, as it allows for verification of their quality and contributes to increasing the efficiency of agricultural production.
As an example, Torobaev mentioned a farmer who signed a contract to grow asparagus on a 60-hectare plot of land for a period of 15 years and collaborates with an international company. He noted that the success of product implementation largely depends on the correct choice of high-quality seeds.
