In the Kyrgyz Republic, the creation of funds to support local initiatives is planned in five cities and rural areas.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Finance of the KR, a memorandum of cooperation has been signed with several non-profit organizations, including the Public Fund "Civic Participation," the Center "Interbilim Osh," and "Youth of Osh."
An important aspect of this project is the unification of efforts to implement a pilot initiative for the creation of funds that will support local communities in the specified five regions.
The main goal of this project is to provide residents with the opportunity to participate more actively in discussions about local budgets, support their ideas, and obtain resources for the implementation of projects beneficial to their communities.
The Ministry will provide consultations and methodological support to local self-government bodies, while partner organizations will conduct training and information campaigns, as well as assist initiative groups at all stages of the funds' work.
The message emphasizes that this project will contribute to strengthening the role of local communities in managing budgetary funds, increasing the transparency of financial distribution, and creating conditions for the effective operation of funds across the country.
