Starting in 2026, farmers using water-saving technologies will be able to count on preferential loans with an interest rate of 2% per annum. 1 billion soms has been allocated for these purposes.
Preparation for Field Work and Winter Sowing

For the 2026 harvest, winter sowing is planned on an area of 118,500 hectares, of which 95,282 hectares have already been sown. Additionally, plowing of fallow land has been completed on 10,625 hectares.

Regional and district headquarters are working on preparations for spring field work, exercising control in an intensified mode.
Seeds and Their Provision

For 2026, the need for grain seeds is 24,907 tons. Currently, 23,704 tons have been procured, which is 95.2% of the required volume.

The region is fully supplied with seeds of oats and leguminous crops. The missing volumes of grains are planned to be replenished through subsidies and sales of seeds by seed-growing enterprises.
Technical Support and Fertilizers

The region has more than 13,000 units of agricultural machinery, of which 86.8% are ready for spring work.

The annual need for mineral fertilizers is approximately 37,000 tons. The cost of fertilizers:

    •    ammonium nitrate — 23–30 soms per kilogram;

    •    urea — 29.5–39 soms per kilogram.
Crop Areas and Agricultural Crops

The total area of sowing in 2026 will be 418,764 hectares, which is 550 hectares more compared to last year.

Of the planned area:

    •    269,698 hectares — grain crops;

Provision of Fuel and Lubricants

For the spring field work, 12,130 tons of diesel fuel and 3,032 tons of gasoline will be required. According to the Association of Oil Traders, the reserves at oil depots and gas stations are sufficient.

Additionally, the State Material Reserves Fund is providing farmers with 2 million liters of diesel fuel at a price of 74 soms per liter, while the market price is 78–80 soms.

“This year, it is expected that there will be no problems with the provision of fuel and lubricants,” added the First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative.
