A farmer from the Issyk-Kul region, using modern agronomic methods, demonstrated impressive results in watermelon cultivation and was recognized as a champion at the "AgroDialogue-2026" forum.
The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry reported that, despite traditionally low watermelon production figures in the northern regions of the country, this project began to develop as an experiment. The implementation of advanced technologies, including drip irrigation, contributed to an early harvest.
According to the farmer, between 60 to 80 tons of watermelons were harvested from one hectare of land, clearly confirming the potential for successful cultivation of melon crops in the northern regions.
This experience highlights the importance of using innovative solutions in agriculture and opens new horizons for its development.
