According to him, the index of physical volume of production compared to the results of 2024 was 110%, which means an increase in production by 100 billion 243 million soms.
Zhantaev also noted that the share of industrial products from the region in the total volume of production of the republic reached 44.5%.
The main driver of growth in gross regional product (GRP) has been the processing industry.
“The production of vehicles has increased several times, and the food industry has shown growth of more than 20%. A stable dynamic growth is also observed in the production of electrical equipment and pharmaceuticals. These sectors play a key role in ensuring the domestic market, import substitution, and creating added value,” added the first deputy representative.
According to Zhantaev, the growth of industrial production by almost 10% was made possible by the implementation of projects approved by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers under the program “100 Industrial Enterprises – 2025.” As a result, 36 large and medium-sized enterprises were put into operation.
In particular, new enterprises were opened in the following districts:
• Alamudun district — 7 enterprises: 4 brick workshops, 2 sewing factories, and 1 coal mine, which created 600 jobs.
• Jayil district — 1 enterprise for the production of explosives, creating 20 jobs.
• Kemin district — 2 facilities: an explosives production plant and a solar power station with a capacity of 100 MW, providing 120 jobs.
• Moscow district — 1 expanded clay factory with 50 new jobs.
• Sokuluk district — 4 facilities: a sewing factory, a glass production plant, a road thermoplastic production plant, and a round steel pipe production facility, which provided 1,130 jobs.
• Issyk-Ata district — 7 facilities: a sewing workshop, 2 concrete plants, 2 brick workshops, and a tile production plant, creating 790 new jobs.
• Chui district — the commissioning of the small hydropower plant "Shamshy," which created 5 jobs.
• City of Kant — 2 facilities: a cement plant and an aluminum profile production enterprise, providing 460 jobs.
• City of Kara-Balta — 2 facilities: a food production facility and a pharmaceutical enterprise, creating 370 jobs.
• Panfilov district — a feed production plant for trout with a capacity of 60 tons per day.
