A 'digital office' for farmers has been launched in Kyrgyzstan

A new Agroportal has been launched in the Kyrgyz Republic, developed by the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry. This specialized resource is designed to consolidate all digital services of the agricultural sector of the country on one platform. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported that this initiative will provide agricultural producers with access to current news, government services, and timely information about events in the agro-industrial complex.

One of the key features of the new portal is the ability to transition essential agricultural services to an electronic format. This means that industry participants can now remotely submit applications for the allocation of tariff quotas for the import of meat products, as well as use a unified system for registering breeding farms and artificial insemination points (PS and PIO).

The Agroportal also includes a number of digital services, such as the ability to obtain fishing licenses, online ordering of biopreparations and entomophages for the protection of agricultural crops, as well as submitting applications for agrochemical research, including soil analysis and laboratory examinations. The main goal of implementing this portal is to simplify the interaction between farmers and government institutions and to increase the transparency of the services provided in the agricultural sector.
