According to him, of this amount, $32.7 million is a grant, while $994 million is a 25-year loan with an interest rate of 1.5% and a 5-year grace period.The allocated funds will be distributed across the following areas:
- economic support - $400 million;
- energy sector, including the construction of the Kambar-Ata HPP-1 - $362.7 million;
- water resources and irrigation - $180.2 million;
- digitalization - $61 million.
Akzholov clarified that as of November 30, the total state debt amounts to $8 billion 850 million, of which $5 billion 288 million is external debt, and $3 billion 561.5 million is internal. According to him, as a result of receiving funds from the IDA, the total debt will practically remain unchanged.
