At the meeting, data on the results in the economic sector of the region were presented. In particular, it was reported that the volume of industrial production for the year amounted to 16 billion 800 million soms, which is 9 billion 964 million soms more compared to 2024.
The main increase in industrial production volumes occurred thanks to metallurgy. In 2024, the volume of metal production was 360 million soms, and in 2025 it increased to 8 billion 336 million soms, rising 23 times.
In addition, coal mining enterprises in the region produced 2 million 523 thousand 769 tons of coal, the At-Bashinsky Hydroelectric Power Station generated 189.1 million kWh of electricity, and 876 kg of gold was extracted from the Buchuk site of the Solton-Sary deposit.
The Solton-Sary deposit includes three sites: Buchuk, Ak-Tash, and Altyn-Tor. The estimated gold reserves at this deposit are about 20-22 tons.
It is also worth noting that, thanks to government support, more than 16 billion soms were allocated to the Naryn region, which made it possible to implement important projects in areas such as industry, energy, construction, road infrastructure, manufacturing, and tourism.
In March 2025, the Minister of Natural Resources, Meder Mashiev, at a press conference in Bishkek reported that the Chinese company Zhong Ji Mining plans to extract 3.4 tons of gold in 2025. The founder of this company is the Chinese state company China Gold.
