According to the agency's information, Russia acted as the project's investor, initially investing about 5 million dollars.
“Such enterprises in the aviation sector did not exist in Kyrgyzstan before. This project demonstrates that modern aviation services and educational institutions can be created in the country,” noted Ravshanbek Sabirov.
He added that this initiative will contribute to attracting new investments, creating jobs, and strengthening the technological base. Currently, 15 pilots from Kyrgyzstan are undergoing training in Russia; after completing the course, they will work in the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and other organizations. The agency is ready to support the project, including providing customs benefits.
In the future, a training and simulation complex is planned to be opened, which will be equipped with a simulator for the Mi-171 helicopter and classrooms designed for training civil aviation pilots, emergency services personnel, Ministry of Defense staff, and cadets of the Kyrgyz Aviation Institute.
