In the village of Sary-Tash, located in the rural district of Too-Moyun in the Aravan district of the Osh region, the construction of a solar power station with a capacity of 105 MW will begin on an area of 200 hectares.
Today, during a working trip to the Aravan district, Amanakan Kenzhebaev, the head of the Osh region, familiarized himself with the land allocated for the project and received information from the relevant specialists.
The project will be financed by foreign investors, and the total cost of its implementation will amount to $65 million.
The first phase of construction will begin in the spring and includes the installation of solar panels with a capacity of over 15 MW. The complete completion of the work is planned for the second phase, when the total capacity of the station will reach 105 MW. As part of the project, it is planned to install about 450,000 solar panels.
In addition, it is expected that as a result of the project implementation, 35 local residents will receive permanent jobs. The head of the region expressed full support for the investors' initiative and assured of his readiness to provide comprehensive assistance for the successful implementation of the project.
