Turkey proposes to increase trade turnover with Kyrgyzstan to $5 billion
Numan Kurtulmuş emphasized that the development of relations between the two countries is based on agreements reached during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Kyrgyzstan in 2024. Currently, bilateral relations are at the level of enhanced strategic partnerships.
The Speaker of the Turkish Parliament also noted that Ankara will actively support Kyrgyzstan's candidacy for temporary membership in the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States. He added that it is necessary to increase the current volume of bilateral trade from $1.5 billion to $5 billion, which has been defined as a common goal by the presidents of both countries.
