The German logistics giant Rhenus may enter Kyrgyzstan



On February 10 of this year, a meeting took place in Berlin between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and Heinrich Kerstgens, a member of the management board of Rhenus SE. The main topic of discussion was potential cooperation in the field of transport logistics.

According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, during the dialogue, emphasis was placed on the development of the country's railway infrastructure, as well as the creation of modern logistics and container centers. Options for Rhenus Logistics' participation in the implementation of various infrastructure projects and the expansion of its activities in the region were also considered.

As a result of the negotiations, both parties expressed interest in further cooperation and the continuation of specific consultations on joint projects.
