The KR Customs has increased collections by 6 times and transferred 157 billion soms to the budget
At the meeting of the extended board, attended by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev, the results of the Customs Service's work were announced. The main factor for successful growth was the implementation of digital technologies. With the help of the "Smart Bajy" platform, the customs was able to process over 873 thousand declarations in a year, which is eight times more than the figure for 2021. At the same time, the staff did not increase, which is explained by effective automation: the time for passing control was reduced from 5 hours to 60 minutes, and in some points — to several dozen minutes.

Important achievements of the Customs Service in numbers:

Collections above plan: The budget received 5.8 billion soms more than expected, amounting to 103.8% of the plan.

Combating smuggling: Nearly 10 thousand violations were registered, which brought an additional 1.56 billion soms to the treasury.

Seizure of drugs: More than 830 kg of narcotic substances and 22 tons of precursors were seized.

Simplification of business processes: The number of bureaucratic procedures was reduced from 18 to 9 steps.

Technological innovations: In the payment system via QR code, about 2 billion soms were processed in three months.

Adylbek Kasymaliev noted that customs payments account for more than a quarter of the entire republican budget. The results of the service's work in 2025 were positively assessed; however, ambitious goals remain: for 2026, the Customs Service aims to collect at least 142.6 billion soms and begin implementing a new Development Concept by 2030.
