Farmers do not want to develop and learn new technologies, - Bakyt Torobaev
In response, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev noted that since January 16, seminars for farmers organized by the Ministry of Agriculture have been taking place in the south of the country.
“Despite this, many farmers do not attend these events. I always believed that they already possess all the necessary knowledge, but it has become clear that they are far from complete understanding. They are unwilling to learn or develop, to master new technologies. But we are ready to help them,” he commented.
Torobaev also mentioned that a Farmers' Service Center has been established in Leilek, where they can seek assistance and consultation.
At that time, the meeting discussed data from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026.
