In response to his request, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev noted that the possibility of compensating transportation costs for farmers involved in bean exports is currently being discussed.
“We are in the stage of discussing this issue, and there is no final decision yet,” he added.
Torobaev also mentioned that the idea of implementing fumigation and packaging technologies for beans had previously been voiced, which could help increase its market value.
Additionally, the deputy made a request regarding the construction of the BDR, to which the minister replied that eight facilities are being considered in the Talas region.
At the same time, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was also reviewed regarding preparations for spring field and agricultural work in 2026.
