Major repair work is also being carried out on the water distribution facilities. Trees that obstruct the flow are being removed, and silt and debris that accumulate in the canals are being cleared.
Preparation for spring irrigation began back in October 2025. Since then, special machinery has been involved in the cleaning of the canals, working both mechanically and using concrete. The completion of all work is planned for March, after which irrigation water will be provided to farmers.
Currently, the cleaning and repair work covers the "Aravan–Ak-Buura," "Kairma," "Zhany," "Zhoobas," "Zhekelik," "Uvam," "Muyan," and "Southern" canals.
