The Cabinet of Ministers approved the implementation program
By December 1, 2026, the completion of 5% of the construction work on the railway 'China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan' is planned. This information was announced in the plan approved by the government as part of the National Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030.
In addition, by the specified date, the completion of the construction of the railway route 'Balykchy - Kochkor' and the station in Kochkor is planned.
The construction of the railway 'China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan' began on December 27, 2024, and the completion of the work is expected in 2030.
The length of this railway will be 532.5 kilometers, of which 304.9 kilometers pass through Kyrgyzstan.
