

Today, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev participated in a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the event, key areas for the development of the republic until 2030 were discussed, as well as the action plan of the Cabinet of Ministers for 2026. Additionally, the results of the work of the Tourism Development Support Fund and the "Kyrgyzexport" Center were summarized, along with other important issues.
Following the presentations of the speakers, Torobaev proposed a number of specific measures to improve the economic situation in the country. He emphasized the need for effective use of industrial potential, the development of a regional hub, the creation of data centers that meet international standards, and the importance of digitalization.
Summarizing the meeting, he noted the successes of the discussions and emphasized that the Ministry of Economy and Commerce plays a fundamental role in the implementation of many projects.
“The Ministry of Economy and Commerce should become an intellectual center that will generate new ideas in the form of large projects and present them on the international stage,” stated Bakyt Torobaev.
In conclusion of his speech, he stressed the importance of maintaining the established pace and continuing the course towards sustainable development.
