In response, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev stated that there are special preferential loans for organic agriculture; however, only two people have taken advantage of them.
The deputy expressed the opinion that government agencies do not pay sufficient attention to the development of this sector.
Torobaev also noted that in 2026, 41 billion soms have been allocated to support agriculture.
This issue became part of the discussion on the draft resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh regarding preparations for the spring field and economic activities in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2026.

According to the legislation on organic production, organic products are defined as products produced in accordance with the rules of organic production and have the same meaning as the terms "biological products," "ecological products," and other similar designations, often abbreviated to "bio" or "eco."
One of the key provisions of this law is that organic production does not allow the use of synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, and agrochemicals, except for those substances included in the list approved by the state authority for organic production.
