
In the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, new phytotechnologies are actively being used for the successful cultivation of citrus fruits. This became known during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee, where the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, shared the latest data.
According to the minister, several types of citrus fruits are produced in the region, including mandarins, oranges, lemons, and kumquats.
He noted that the area under seedlings has significantly increased: from 801 hectares in 2023, this figure rose to 1,056 hectares by 2025.
As a result, last year the volume of harvested tropical products amounted to 7,149 tons.
