In the Moscow district of Chui region and the Aitmatov district of Talas region, weekend fairs dedicated to agriculture were held. According to information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, these events were organized in collaboration with local agricultural development administrations and ayil okmotu.
At the fairs, residents had the opportunity to purchase meat products, vegetables, and fruits, as well as essential food items such as flour, oil, and sugar at affordable prices.
Local farmers and producers actively participated in the fairs, allowing them to sell their products directly to consumers without intermediaries. This fostered closer ties between producers and consumers and helped reduce food prices for the population.
The main goal of these events is to provide citizens with quality and safe products, to contribute to the stabilization of prices for essential food items, and to support the domestic market.
It should be noted that the republic currently observes complete food security. Sufficient stocks of socially significant products allow for the avoidance of shortages in the country.
The Ministry and other government bodies continue to monitor the market and work on providing the population with necessary goods.
