An alternative road is being built to the city of Manas
According to information provided by the city administration, the main goal of this project is to reduce traffic congestion on the main entry routes and improve conditions for motorists.
The construction work is being carried out by the state enterprise "Kyrgyzavtozhol-Yug" under the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
Musa Berdigulov, a representative of the state enterprise, noted that many pieces of machinery are working on the site. "The new road along the Kök-Art river will connect the Bishkek—Osh highway with the Manas—Blagoveshchenka route. The total length is 9 km 200 meters, and the width is 8 meters. Funding is provided from the republican budget. Currently, preparatory work has begun, and estimates and project documentation are being developed. At the moment, 22 dump trucks, 2 loaders, 2 excavators, and 1 grader are involved," he reported.
The completion of construction is planned for the end of this year. After that, the road will serve as an alternative entrance to the city of Manas.
