The B5+1 business forum "Central Asia - USA" concluded today in Bishkek, featuring Benazir Nurlanova, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
She reported that approximately 400 delegates representing 211 companies and organizations participated in the forum. Among the participants are leading companies that offer new solutions, develop new markets, and create unique cooperation formats.
“This underscores that the B5+1 platform is becoming not just a venue for discussions, but a real basis for forming partnerships. The participants included delegations from the business communities of the region and the USA: 80 companies from Kyrgyzstan, 35 from Kazakhstan, 27 from Uzbekistan, 22 from Tajikistan, 13 from Turkmenistan, and 34 organizations from the United States,” Nurlanova added.
She noted that such high representation indicates a growing interest in practical business interaction.
“With our American partners and the CIPE organization, we have made significant progress in preparing for the forum. Our goal was for the results of the meeting to be evident, and for participants to leave not only with positive impressions but also with new contacts, ideas, and agreements for the future. Judging by the active discussions and the number of meetings held, we have managed to achieve this goal,” the Deputy Minister emphasized.
She added that the next important step will be to translate the discussed initiatives into concrete actions and long-term projects.
“We are open to cooperation and strive to develop partnerships. Our country has all the necessary resources for the successful implementation of joint initiatives. We are ready to create conditions for doing business, support new projects, and be reliable partners for companies operating in our region,” concluded Benazir Nurlanova.
