The Eurasian Economic Commission Council has updated the rules regarding quarantine phytosanitary control that are in effect in the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. This information was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The changes are aimed at creating more comfortable conditions for honest market participants and increasing both the transparency and effectiveness of phytosanitary control.
The new version of the regulations includes measures that will help prevent the provision of false information about recipients of quarantine products in phytosanitary certificates. This, in turn, will reduce the likelihood of violations and improve the tracking of goods movement within the Union.
The innovations are also aimed at strengthening control and enhancing the level of quarantine phytosanitary safety in all EAEU countries. The implementation of these measures is expected to contribute to the protection of agriculture, prevent the spread of quarantine objects, and ensure stability in the common market.
