This project is aimed at protecting the interests of the population and ensuring food security, as well as ensuring the physical accessibility of essential goods. If more lenient methods cannot resolve the issues that arise, temporary state regulation of prices for socially significant goods (works, services) will be introduced.
The state will be able to establish price regulation for a period of up to 90 days within a year, with the possibility of extension if necessary, according to the rules established by legislation. This applies to:
- socially significant goods (works, services) from both legal entities and individuals, the list of which will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers;
- socially significant goods (works, services) from enterprises that hold a dominant position in the market.
