At the Kyrgyz Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, a meeting was held with a delegation of agricultural companies from Turkey, which expressed interest in investment projects in the agriculture of Kyrgyzstan.
The organization of the meeting was made possible with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the General Consulate of Kyrgyzstan in Antalya.
During the discussions, the Turkish representatives presented their initiatives based on the results of previous studies and visits to Kyrgyzstan. They expressed their readiness to begin the practical implementation of their investment projects in the agricultural sector of the republic.
The negotiations covered a wide range of topics, including the creation of modern greenhouses using both soil and hydroponic technologies, the implementation of automated systems for irrigation, heating, lighting, and nutrients for plants, as well as the organization of the production of certified fruit, vegetable, and berry seedlings.
Particular attention was also paid to the production of mineral and semi-industrial fertilizers and the provision of consulting services for local farmers.
During the meetings, the legal and procedural aspects of the implementation of investment initiatives were discussed, including licensing, product certification, and possible formats for further cooperation in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan.
The Ministry expressed its readiness to provide consultative assistance within its competence and support investment projects.
