In the coming years, the United States plans to significantly increase its economic presence in Central Asia. This was announced by the U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergio Gore, at the B5+1 forum held in Bishkek.

Sergio Gore noted that after Donald Trump came to power, this region once again became an important part of the U.S. foreign economic strategy. "The focus will be on the private sector rather than intergovernmental agreements," he emphasized.

Among the key areas of cooperation are e-commerce, artificial intelligence, critical minerals, agriculture, and the development of transportation infrastructure. According to Gore, the U.S. government intends to support American companies operating in this region to minimize investment risks.
