In the Toktogul District, a modern drip irrigation system for intensive horticulture is being installed on 30 hectares.
According to the information from the ministry, drip irrigation systems are being installed on 30 hectares of rain-fed land. In addition, a daily regulation reservoir with a capacity of 15,000 cubic meters is being constructed.
The land plot has been leased for a period of 5 years through the district agricultural development management. This creates opportunities for long-term planning and sustainable growth in the horticulture sector.
Starting in March, planting of seedlings will begin in this area. The use of modern technologies and drip irrigation allows for efficient use of water resources, which is particularly relevant in conditions of water scarcity, and significantly eases the labor of farmers.
The modern technologies being implemented by the ministry aim to increase yields, minimize water losses, and enhance the resilience of production processes. The implementation of this project will make a significant contribution to the development of horticulture in the Toktogul district and increase the income of local residents.
